RBS Digital Regular Saver

The max monthly deposit is £150.

Is this net or total? Ie if I withdraw £4k on 1st April, can I add the £4k back in on 25th April, as long as the balance does not increase by more than £150 (plus interest) in the month?

I'm sure i've seen this asked before but could not find!

Some people have been able to do what you want to do however others have tried and failed.

Officially, according to the terms and conditions, you can only deposit £150 per month plus any round ups from debit card spending.

Strictly speaking £150 is the max deposit in any month (not including any extra added through other methods such as round-ups), so you shouldn't be able to withdraw and replace the funds later. But in reality, many have shared on the forum that they have been able to withdraw and replace any amount, provided it's done within the same month.

I wouldn't rely on it if you desperately want to keep the full balance in there, but if you're happy to accept some level of risk that you may not be able to put all the money back then in theory it'll work just fine.
