Evri return to Sender issue

Sold a large karaoke machine on eBay, posted with correct packing etc us SD…

eBay states it's been successfully delivered, Evri state they attempted delivery twice but have returned it to me, which they have and the buyer hasn't responded when I have messaged them.

When I contacted eBay they gave me the standard "wait a few more days" line to see if the buyer reaches out.

I know I am covered under SD, but is there anything else I need to be aware of?

As you've already informed ebay I'd just store the item and wait to see what else happens. No doubt the buyer will be in touch at some point, when that happens refer them to ebay and contact ebay stating you have the item and ask how to resend it at no cost to yourself.

I had an SD item returned to me due to a problem with collect from store and it was a total nightmare as ebay were sure it had been returned to me when it had actually been dumped at the buyer's parcel shop (who then returned it to evri but there was no tracking). It sounds like you have the opposite issue and may find ebay are convinced the buyer has the item when you actually do

Buyer has not messaged back, but has apparently opened a case that eBay are dealing with under SD, so I am guessing she's stated INR… However all of Evri's tracking has been removed.

    Going to sit tight!
