BWLegal Final Demand

Hello there guys, I hope you can help me with this situation.

I have just received another letter from BWLegal, saying 'Final Demand'. It says I have until the 31st March to respond. The situation that got me the original ticket (from Link Parking Limited), was that I went to help a friend move into a new block of apartments, so had to leave my car close by to offload. When I got back to my car, I saw the PCN. The reason for the ticket is 'Parked In a No Parking Area'. There may have been a sign there at the time, but I don't remember seeing one, and it wouldn't surprise me at the time if there wasn't one, as it was a completely new residential area. But yeah, I have ignored all letter up until now, but i'm not entirely sure what my next steps should be with this final demand letter. They say if I don't contact them by 31st March, they will send a formal LOC

Can anybody help me with my next steps please? Thanks everyone

Wait for the LOC giving 30 days notice (not 14) then go to NEWBIES Announcement thread, email the reply as advised in POST 2 - Small claim.

Is there not a management company at your friend's apartment that you or your friend could complain to about getting a pcn on the moving in day.

    Ignore.

The general advice is not to ignore a Letter Before Claim.

However, I have ignored BW Legal's LBAs in the past and nothing ever came of it.

Very good - and exactly what you want.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Respond with the LoC response template, or, ignore them and wait for the court claim
