Masters Loans, should I pay it off for my daughter?

My daughter took out a £10k Masters loan in 2021 which did help her career progression, however she's not likely to get into the higher tax bracket in her current role (but she loves it).

She may want children in the future also, so a career break is likely.

She has no other student loan and is paying about £30pm at the moment (I think), but the loan is now around £14k. I've come into some cash and could pay off the debt for her, however is this the best option? If I do pay it off she's going to pay me back (zero interest) and I'm going to either deposit what she pays into her pension or an ISA.

Or would a better idea be to gift her the £14k to put in an ISA or her pension?

What's the chance of the government changing the terms/reducing interest on the Masters' loans?

No idea on the rest of your questions but in terms of your last one about the chance of government changes - crystal ball aside, no one can answer that or even give an educated guess.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Does it ever get written off if it's not paid off?

If YES then put it in savings for her.

Could she make better use of the money for a deposit or pension?

You really need to estimate her salary going forward, including career breaks, and see if she will pay it all back before write off.
