£50 voucher isn't a bad offer. Given how polite their email was, I'd go back and politely ask if they'd raise it to £75.

I've got a Garmin 55 I picked up for £110 and am impressed with it. I wanted a decent running watch without a load of unnecessary functionality and it's exactly that. They're pricey at Decathlon so perhaps put the voucher towards something else and buy the Garmin from somewhere like Amazon for less than £120.

With regards to "life expectancy", I have a Huawei GT2 which is still functioning perfectly after almost 5 years. Battery is still good and only needs charging after 10 to 14 days use.
