Transfer to II - How Long?
I know this will vary depending on volume and possibly individual fund and certainly on the sending platform but would anyone have any recent experience of transferring an ISA or GIA to II please?
In my case it would be from IWEB/Scottish Widdows.

A couple of years ago, it took 3 months for a transfer of my SIPP from AJ Bell to II. Other people's experience more recently seems to have been a lot faster.

Yeah I did a pension transfer a month ago and it took a week. Staggered by that.
Debating whether to risk putting a request in now or sort out CGT harvesting and do it after.
Feels safer v getting "stuck" unable to do the CGT stuff.

Transferred the wife's company Scottish Widows Master Trust Plan into the her II SIPP in January. Was a cash transfer and took just over 2 weeks, very impressed how quick it was.
Also transferred an Equiniti S&S ISA into her II S&S ISA a few weeks ago and that took 2 weeks.

I've done three in specie partial S&S ISA transfers recently, each of which took 2-3 weeks, but none of which were from SWSD or to II.

I started a S&S ISA Transfer from AJ Bell to II on 10 February and it's still not completed. The ISA contains Funds which I think take longer than Shares/ETFs. My AJ Bell Statement shows the funds transferring out on 26 February so I'm in that nervous period waiting for them to appear on the other side.
I started a GIA Transfer from T212 to II on 12 February and that's not completed either. That should be simple as it contains only four Shares/ETFs. The last update from II was Wednesday (11th) and said they will settle "soon".
At this late stage, if you need to do any transactions in the 2025/6 tax year for CGT purposes I would do them where they are.
I understand some providers are experiencing high transfer volumes due to clients transferring away from HL, and the various cashback offers that other providers have launched recently.

SWid to ii for ISA & GIA? Reckon up-to 3 weeks, could be a bit less, but probably not much more than that. Make sure the ii platform can hold the things you're transferring before you begin the process…

I transferred a Scottish Widows workplace pension to ii last February - it took 7 days (including weekend) from start to finish.

In the middle of a HL to ii SIPP in-specie transfer (several of the funds are being converted to ii share classes).
Hopefully completed in the next few weeks.

Transferred Mrs R's ISA from HL as soon as they announced their new terms, to Fidelity. Had intended to transfer to her existing SW ISA but couldn't resist the cashback on offer. Took 7 days from request to completion.
All the investments were available on both platforms. A couple of funds took just 2 days to appear. The slowest was a Vanguard global ETF which took 4 days. The £25 she had in cash took a full week to arrive and complete the transfer. Both parties did the transfer electronically with none of those bits of paper that they used to use.
