The competition starts at 9:00am on Friday, March 13th, 2026, and ends at 11:59pm on Sunday, March 29th, 2026, and the winner will be announced within 7 days.

1. This promotion is open to UK residents, excluding employees of Cool Places and Hoots Treehouses, their families, affiliates and anyone else directly connected with the promotion.

2. Entrants must be 18 years or over.

3. To qualify for this competition, entrants must sign up to the Cool Places and Hoots Treehouses newsletters via the 'Enter Competition' button above. If you are already signed up, you can of course still enter.

3.1. By entering this competition, you consent to your personal data being added to the marketing databases of Cool Places and Hoots Treehouses.

3.2. By signing up to the Cool Places and Hoots Treehouses newsletters to enter this promotion, you consent to Cool Places and Hoots Treehouses contacting you from time to time for marketing purposes, including the distribution of regular email updates or newsletters. 3.3. We accept no responsibility for damage or loss resulting from misdirected or incomplete entries arising from computer malfunction, viruses, bugs or telephone malfunction or other such causes. We are in no way liable for the reproduction or indirect access via third-party websites that misstate or omit any of the information or terms and conditions connected with the promotion.

3.4. All entrants who enter between the two key dates will be entered into a draw, and the winner will be picked at random, within 7 days of the closing date.

3.5. The winner will be notified via email within 7 days of the competition closing. The winner must accept their prize within 7 days of being notified. The winner's name may be published on www.coolplaces.co.uk and social media platforms, and may be used in other marketing emails.

3.6. Information/content about the prize may be used by Hoots Treehouses for marketing purposes.

4. The prize is subject to availability, excludes bank holidays and special dates (Christmas, NYE and other bank holidays), excludes Fridays and weekends, and no cash alternative will be offered. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, must be taken by the named prize winner, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers, promotions, or discounts. The winner is responsible for transport to and from their chosen location.

4.1 Once booked, this prize cannot be reused or rescheduled.

4.2. The prize draw will be open until the end time/date detailed on the original competition source. Entries after that time and date will not be included in the prize draw.

4.3. The prize is based on a two-night stay at Hoots Treehouses for up to four people, depending on which treehouse you choose. Hoots Treehouse sleeps a family of four (two adults and two children), and Tawny sleeps two.

4.4. The prize is valid for 12 months and redeemable on stays booked Sunday-Thursday only.

4.5. The prize must be booked with Hoots Treehouses directly, via email.

4.6. Standard Hoots Treehouses accommodation and booking policies/terms and conditions apply – please read them before redeeming the prize.

4.7. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the competition promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value should the specified prize become unavailable.

4.8. The promoters reserve the right to cancel or amend without notice the terms of this promotion and any prize issued in the event of a major catastrophe, war, earthquake or any actual or anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other circumstance beyond the promoter’s control.

4.9. The promoters cannot be held liable for any failure by third parties to fulfil their obligations or for any acts or omissions outside their control. However, the promoters will endeavour to minimise the effect of any such failure.

5. By entering this promotion, all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules. All entry instructions form part of the rules. Any breach of these Terms and Conditions will result in a forfeit of the prize.
