Morning @Gers thanks for the start today x Glad to hear you enjoyed the show and your overnight stay.
I didn’t manage to get on yesterday. Took Mum shopping and then worked 11:30-5. Have been on my own admin-wise this week due to a family bereavement affecting boss and her niece. TBH it’s done me a favour as I’ve just had to get on with things and use my initiative. Plus the money will come in handy! We’ve moved some money about to pay for the new to us car which we’ll collect on Tuesday. We’re also visiting the bathroom showroom today to finalise our order there. BIL can fit everything for us starting 20 April - I realise we are very lucky to have him!
Tonight’s dinner is lasagne, so I’ll prepare that once we’re back. Rugby is also on the cards - can we do Scotland a favour?!
Do hope you get some progress re: Mum’s care @dp1 x
Annoyed on your behalf @AlwaysAllie - glad someone reached out to you x
Hope you’re okay after your tumble @mehefin
X
Shout out to our missing including @-taff @silver-oldie @nannywindow amongst others. Hope you’re doing okay?
Have a good day all

Morning @Gers morning all
Wind has calmed down, sun is out but it's feeling colder today.
Want to get out into garden today with DH to move a few things that he can and I can't so will put my supervisor cap on!
First, must put breadmaker on as I promised DS a brown loaf as the one I made and froze just didn't like being thawed out and crumbled to bits so this one will be fresh for him tomorrow. Rock cakes are on the menu today too.
Rugby this afternoon and yellow stickered haddock, chips and mushy peas for dinner.
Hope everyone has a good day x

Cold this morning but dry for now although there are some very dark clouds about. I've stripped the bed but will dry it inside today.
Sorry your appointment was cancelled Ruby, hope you hear about another soon.
Hope you've recovered from your tumble Mehefin.
Glad you enjoyed the show Gers, I like Marcus Brigstock.
Great you got a day's work in Coxy, hope there's more for you.
Hoping the new SW works hard to get your parents sorted dp1.
I went for a massage after work yesterday, a Chrismas gift that I almost forgot about, it was really lovely and spent the rest of the evening feeling very relaxed although I was a bit stiff when I got up to check the facilities in the night as she was stretching my legs and hips too.
Shopping, allotment and a walk today for me and some housework must be done too including giving the fridge a good clean.
Have a good weekend, take care. XX

Good morning.
It's a cold start but still a bright and sunny day.
I'm off to see my family for Mother's Day tomorrow, we fit things in where we can but it'll be lovely to spend time with them.
I hope everyone has a great weekend..

Morning all - it's bright and sunny and blooming freezing. Last night there was a lovely red pinky sky so my hopes are high.
Journey home was good, clear roads and a very careful driver made for great views. Drawer fixing man called off as he's got a time-pressure job on. I'm just as happy as mine can wait. Freesat man also called off so is coming later this morning. It's only the downstairs TV which needs cables tweaked so, again, it can wait.
Avanti West Coast paid out my refund of nearly £100 so am happy with them. I bought a lovely pair of jeans but they're too long. Can I be bothered to take them to Glasgow for shortening??? They only come in one length so I'm unsure though probably will send them back. The company does offer a service but it's sending them off.
I've got some eggs cooking to have with my soup later on, I'll mash them up once I'm back from pharmacy appointment.
There's groups of daffodils popping up everywhere, such a cheery sight. Snowdrops drooping and crocus not quite sure what to do.
Hugs to all, especially our poorlies and sads.

Morning from sunny Mehefinland
Weird weather day yesterday - think I had everything except snow! Some vicious hail showers though. Then an overnight frost so things were a bit slick this morning. Glad I left my seedlings alone yesterday as I think the double shock might have done for them
No major ill effects from my woodlouse impression I'm glad to say although a little stiff this morning.
Supposed to be delivering yet more newsletters later - will it never end he cries!!!.
Beach litter pick tomorrow ( in the rain by the look of things😕) followed by a late lunch with my young friend Seb and his family.
Hugs and spoons as always

Morning all. We had a surprise frost overnight but the sun's out now.
Yesterday DH collected a couple of big bags of topsoil plus we bought a box of blood, bone and meal so just need to get all that on the garden now. The soil is jolly heavy and I'm wondering about asking DS and DSiL to deal with it tomorrow, seeing as they are all coming over for lunch. DSiL loves to be useful so he might be the man for the job!
I've just poached a side of salmon ready for tomorrow and am picking up some other bits later. This afternoon we will be dancing at a memorial afternoon tea for one of our former dancers, which I think is a lovely idea. He was in his 90s so a good age.
Have a great weekend everyone.

Good morning
A bright and sunny start, although showers forecast for later.
I had my Mother's day present delivered yesterday from DD, as I won't be seeing her. Been very good and not peeked. She knows I don't believe in Mother's day as I think it better to be in touch all year, but she said she does so I get presents.
Cheese and ham toasties for tea tonight, while watching rugby no doubt. DH said he enjoyed the tea last night, but I know it's not a meal in his eyes unless it has meat and two veg. If asked what he wants he always says "I don't mind". That coming from the world's fussiest eater. Oh well, I've put up with him for 52 years, so I should be used to it.
Have a good day all, take care.

Bright and sunny here but very cold I have a towel load in the wm and another to go in after they can go on the line for a blow.
Housework to do this morning and OH is going to grout the tiles, we then need to start to empty the kitchen ready for painting Monday, dogs to be walked and then a rest this afternoon.
Dinner tonight will be lasagne (snap Coxy) with salad and I shall make some coleslaw. I nipped into Mr T yesterday and they had pork and gammon joints half price with a club card so I got one of each for the freezer will do us a couple of meals during the week.
Our daffodils and crocus have been and gone, being this much further south and a bit warmer it really makes a difference. My sweet pea seeds that I planted last weekend are starting to peep through as well.
Have good days all and take care xx
