DRO creditors list
hello, I’ve recently been accepted for a DRO but I’m not sure whether there’s a problem with the creditors list. One of them I put the collection agency and not the creditor and the other changed to a collection agency just before the application was accepted, that balance is also higher than the actual balance as the interest was removed as it was a loan. Will this be a problem and can it be amended? Thanks

The DRO itself can't be amended but with the help of whomever submitted the application there might be a way to deal with the creditors themselves. It would be best to talk to them as they are the experts. But I'm thinking that if you can get the collection agency to return the debt to whomever then that might sort the second one. If the debt was with a collection agency already then I believe that's who should be named but again your debt advice expert will know best (one hopes!)

It makes no difference as long as reference/account number is there, it can be traced if necessary.
Additionally the outstanding balance requires no amendment, as long as its not 1000`s of £`s out, its the account that gets written off so as long as the total balances remain under 50k, it doesn't matter and you don`t need to do anything.
