I know you hold some kind of grudge against the motoring profession, but this is nonsense.
Most people are more interested in the service than the stamp, and only a mathematically insignificant number of mechanics fraudulently skip the service and provide the stamp.7 -

Entirely coincidental. Breakdowns and faults can occur at any time and often without any warning. Bought a car from family member who'd owned it from new, no issues at all. Day later it came up with engine management light. It's one of those things that can happen.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
Ive a longer explanation on another thread but we found the following week after loads of issues that the “service” completed appeared limited (for example, pollen filter replacement and basic checks/fluids), which did not match our expectations of the level of preparation and inspection carried out before sale!
