Parking eye debt collection
Hi, is there a sensible way forward in this scenario please?:
I used to work at an asda, starting last May. At the start I was getting parking fines from parking eye, so spoke to my manager who dealt with it, and I got cancellation letters. I kept the letters for a while to make sure I had each one cancelled. Now I've got an unpaid fine debt collection letter.
I would contact parking eye to tell them politely to stop being so stupid, but there's no clear way to do it.

"Now I've got an unpaid fine debt collection letter."
I can categorically state that nowhere on the silly debt collection letter does it state the word "fine", I hope you kept the cancellation letters, I suspect one wasn't cancelled that's why it got through to the debt collector, who are by the way of no threat what so ever.
You don't need to be polite to parking eye they are greedy scammers however if you wish to complain here is there complaints portal:

Yes, you're correct the term they used was unpaid parking charge. I spoke to someone at the asda store who asked me to email in a photo to put through the cancellation system.
But I've also sent a complaint to tell them to check their records, and cease the debt collection.
Knowing how it works this one will be cancelled, and I'll get another in 2 weeks time.

Certainly you don't have to pay these even if Asda can't cancel one or two.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
