No, do not let it go to a CCJ

    No, do not pay !

Just take it one step at time, with our help , wait for the court claim, follow the process

It's mainly admin, no stress involved, if you study the excellent advice in the 2nd post in the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum by coupon mad ( tons of good info on here , so study other B W LEGAL cases too. )

It shouldn't take more than a couple of hours including studying the topic carefully, its mainly admin, but following our replies and advice is also crucial , meaning that it won't cost a penny. !

You will need him to login to his government gateway account in order to access his MCOL section, plus send emails from him, because everything is done under his name, you being his Personal Assistant

This Is necessary AFTER the Money Claim pack arrives in the post , so use the intervening time to get up to speed

    On defending the Claim?

Half an hour copy & pasting the Template Defence into an online box (after adding his facts & recall about the event into ONE short & simple paragraph)!

I just want the lowest stress option.

    It's as above.

Defending a claim is easier than appealing the PCN in the first place. It's a copy & paste online admin box filling exercise.

And note that a Claim Form is not a 'CCJ'.

And note that most LBCs are not followed by Claims at all. Most fizzle out. So he may as well ignore BW Legal's letters (but obviously NOT a Claim).

Make sure the address they have is always up to date because letters must be seen & opened promptly. That's all!

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
