I do not have time to go through everything in full right now, I will lay it out properly this evening. But as an example all the parts in their build that costs £1,758 cost £1,534 and it also seems to be ignoring some very obvious upgrades, the 16GB version of that graphics card is only another £100 which would be a worthwhile improvement especially if you want to use any of the on device AI stuff in Photoshop. It makes no sense to put a 1TB NVME in then a SATA drive, it makes far more sense to put a bigger primary drive in, I should have mentioned before but you can probably take the drive out of your laptop and use that as a secondary. The motherboard does not have Wifi or Bluetooth which you said were important.

Thanks @MattMattMattUK I can see your point about the 5060ti 16gb. Where the drives are concerned with my laptop I always used the laptop hard drive for programs, as a scratch disk and to save general word and excel files to. I used an external Toshiba or Seagate drives for all of my image files and separate ones for back ups but I was told on a photo forum it was better to save them to an internal drive on the desktop. I'm happy to continue the way it did before and just keep the 1TB to run programs/scratch disk and store the small number of word and excel files on. As for the motherboard I see what you mean - I did google this and I've seen mention of downloading drivers to run the wifi and bluetooth but I also see that Gigabyte do the B850 Eagle WiFi 6E which seems to have both on it. I do appreciate you taking a look at this as it is a bit confusing to a not techie like me so thank you. 😊

Thats interesting to know - I'm told that prices have been shooting up so it would be good to see some of them come down again. Thanks for letting me know.
