UC Carers Element Dental Treatment?
Does anybody know if a person receiving Universal Credit and Carers Element who cares full time and does not have another Job needs to pay for dental treatment.
All I can find online is if your take home pay is less than a certain amount you might get free however, a one hundred pound fine awaits if you get it wrong so I've opted for paying for treatment for now.

Is it an NHS dentist?

If there is no take home pay on either a single or joint claim, then it is free.
If you've gotten receipts you can claim the cost back.
Many dentists expect the patient to pay & then claim back from the NHS anyway.
