HMRC could be using the wrong figures.
Next year’s tax code was way off for me.
It had carers allowance, which ended in July 2025, plus 3k interest bill. I self assess, to resolve this.
Neither had been removed for 26/27, carers was listed as pension they could not understand it, took 2 calls to get them removed.
All good now. Until next year.
