BUS LANE FINE
50 years I've been driving and a clean licence but today I received a Penalty Charge Notice for "using a route restricted to certain vehicles" i.e. a bus lane. I know exactly where it was and for the life of me can't recall purposely driving in a bus lane. I did see lots of buses but obviously I couldn't have driven in that space as buses were there - it must have just been past them at a junction when I was wanting to turn left. I was lost and in an area I don't know and it was all one way roads and heavy traffic but the bus lane in painted Blue and I just don't know why I didn't see it. Is it worth appealing or should I just pay up the reduced rate and accept I messed up albeit it innocently.

Same Advice as in the thread below ( try the FTLA parking forum website )

Since we concentrate on parking charge notices from unregulated private parking companies, you would be better off taking this over to our friends on https://ftla.uk (the forum started to replace Pepipoo), as they are the experts on council and police issues.
You will need register before reading the FAQs, then posting both sides of your PCN with your query.

Don't worry - it's non-endorseable so you will still have your clean driving licence.
We'd need to see the location so we can look on Google Streetview.
