Happy Birthday TA and Izzie have a great day xx
Gers enjoy your show, i remember them doing a show in a motor home.
Very windy here as well but no rain. DH just off to one of his clubs so I will hopefully get a few bits done.
Have a good day all hugs to those who want them.

Morning all, thanks for today's start @Gers. You're doing a fantastic job of clearing things out so the occasional day of sloth is to be forgiven! 👍️
I hope our birthday girls have a wonderful day. Happy haircut @Izzy, enjoy the break @TA.
The wind died down last night but is back again this morning and it's feeling much cooler. I'll have to pick my moment for today's Co-op trip since it could rain at almost any time. Just a few bits and pieces needed that could wait but I'd rather do it today and get it over and done with since the weekend weather doesn't look any more promising. We're having an easy chicken stir fry and noodles for tea tonight.
Speaking of clutter, someone in our block must be having a clear out as there's a pile of stuff in the communal hallway - some kind of bathroom storage pole thingy, a traditional mop, two small fan heaters and a steam mop (not sure if these are working or not), a roll of rather nice wallpaper (unopened) and a box with four mugs inside it. If nothing has disappeared by the weekend I'll rescue the wallpaper and mugs and take them to the CS.
To add to DS's woes of a broken relationship, he's now joined the ranks of the unemployed after his work contract came to an end and they're not re-hiring anyone. He's on the ball looking for work and does have an interview today so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for him. He's never been out of work before and I can tell he's getting stressed out, especially after yesterday's foray into the benefits system - what a minefield. 😕
My water bill has arrived and I need to have a close look at it; my water company has confirmed I'm eligible for their water support reduction but I'm not sure it's been applied to the bill. Even if it has, the monthly DDs seem to have shot up a lot.
@Ruby - Good luck at the clinic today. I can imagine how much you're looking forward to having the kitchen and utility finished.
@Coxy - Enjoy your belated Xmas present.
@Gers - I'm another one who seems to attract complete strangers who want to tell me their life story. 😮 Enjoy the theatre tonight.
Right, time to make a move so I'll wish everyone a good day. Take care, don't get blown away! X

Rosy, no it's proper school, reception class. He goes to a private nursery atm. It's very good and structured so hopefully school won't be too much of a shock. Mind you, it ought to be good, it costs over £100 a day in the midst of the Cambridgeshire Fens, Laura pays much less than that for Esther in Bristol.
York Lass, commiserations to your son, Brian hasn't had a contract since Christmas although he's waiting for news on an interview he had this week. It's what Steve and I were worried about when they moved because Laura doesn't earn enough to pay the mortgage and all the bills. I know they have a contingency sum but I don't know how long it will last!

Hello everyone and Happy Birthday to Izzy and TA
Ive just been catching up while I had my lunch.
Snoozer I was going to say the same it's very young to start school. Here they have to be 4 by the 31st August.
Redruby - my people is overflowing with all the visiting I've been doing!
Dad finally got home at 4pm yesterday, he was quite grumpy when I went down this morning, but he is shattered. He fell asleep while I was talking to him…maybes his people meter is also full!
Just about to put my boots back on to go and see mam, my brothers already been this morning - she had packed her bag in the middle of the night and tried to leave the hospital! No news about a new assessment yet.
The weather is atrocious today, very windy and pouring with rain, wish I could stay in!
Hope everyone has a good day x
