Morning all
Happy Birthday to TA and Izzy I hope there is cake ๐ and fizz, enjoy your days xx
Raining here and feels quite cold, I am off to see O today and we are going out to town to get his mum a Motherโs Day gift and card to put up for Sunday. The new PA came yesterday and I think will get on really well but my god can she talk ๐ณ she was very lovely but my people meter was completely full by the end of the day, I know her full life story and she knows practically nothing about me ๐
I have the breast clinic today so I need to leave on time today, dd is off so she will cook dinner which will be creamy garlic chicken with pasta or rice. OH is also off today so will do the tiles and maybe the skirting in the utility, the painter is coming Mon / Tues to do the kitchen and the following week for the utility, itโs been a long time coming but we are nearly there.
I will put a wash on before I go to work and dd will hang it on the airer later.
Have good days all and take care xx

Morning All
Have the happiest of birthdays TA and Izzy, enjoy your days.
Very, very windy here, had to close the bedroom window in the night as it was too noisy! Washing up to date and the house is reasonably clean and tidy, will catch up with that domestic nonsense at the weekend.
I watched the film 'I Swear' last night and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Hope you get on ok Ruby, will be thinking of you.
Must get to work, it'll be a busy day today. Take care. XX

Morning all and thanks for the start @Gers x
Happy Birthday @TravellingAbuela and @IzzyBee hope you both have lovely days with cake and merriment ๐ฅณโค๏ธ
We are off to London today for a matinee of Back to the Future the musical. It was a Christmas present from DS1 and DDIL. Looking forward to a day out after sitting for virtually 9 hours yesterday! I only did 132 steps all day.
That made me chuckle @RedRuby1231 - I always seem to attract those who have no self-awareness too. Hope O enjoys the shopping trip, how cute xHave a good day all

It's nowhere near a good morning here - the wind has howled and the rain battered all night with no let up in sight until Saturday.
@RedRuby1231 - I hope that all goes well for you at the clinic, and I sympathise with your people meter being full. I hate busy bus stops as there's usually someone determined to talk and tell everything. whether appropriate or not!
@Coxy11 - snap for yesterday's sloth. I sort of made up for it a little as last night I cleared out the last of the drawers ready for their remedial work tomorrow. Next thing is to cull the contents, I've already pulled out two things to take to the textile recycle bin.
Later this morning I'm off down to Glasgow to see Paul Merton and his wife, Suki Webster, at the theatre tonight. I find his form of riffing humour makes me laugh, especially when he's on Just a Minute.
Thoughts to @dp1 - what a great doctor you got there, fingers crossed that his advice makes a difference for your beloved DM.
Take care all, keep warm, dry and safe. Hugs to all.

Morning all
Feels alot colder today and very windy. Winter seems to have gone on forever so it's nice to see it light in the mornings alot earlier now. Remember when working going in when it was dark and then coming home in the dark, but no more!
Usual dusting and hoovering today and might go out in the garden later to play with my new cordless secateurs. Tried them out yesterday and the difference to a normal pair is brilliant, cutting like a knife through butter!
Right, I'd better get up and do something instead of sitting in bed all day!
Now I've got the right day @IzzyBee enjoy your birthday and look forward to hearing about your birthday weekend @TravellingAbuela xx
Have a good day all x

Little dog will be to walk later but sheโs snoring her head off next to me at the minute. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing

Hi everyone,
Happy birthday TA and Izzy, I'm astonished how many of us have birthdays in March. Mine is next week but it will be a very low key affair as will Mother's Day. I always say that I'd rather see the children regularly like I do than have them make a special effort once or twice a year. I know I'm lucky seeing them and the grandchildren as often as I do.
Talking of which we are only having Nate this afternoon today. We've been having him most weeks because his other grandmother's husband is ill. It was supposed to be only for January and February but it looks as if he will have to have ongoing treatment now so we will be doing most of the care on a Thursday. We're trying to sort it that we won't have to leave too early because it's a really long day for us. It will only be till the summer though because he starts school in September,it seems far too early to me, he turns four at the end of September. I have no qualms about him being able to keep up work wise but I just feel he should still be playing most of the time ta that age. I think C and C have chosen a school that prioritises play though so hopefully he will be fine. They'll have to find after school care for him as well though although I've said we will pick him up on one day a week and if they ever have an emergency. I just hope that starting school on top of having a new baby sister won't upset the apple cart.
I'd better get on, we have friends coming tomorrow night and the house needs a good clean after my month of illness. I've become obsessed by Nancy Birtwhistle's green cleaning and am trying to rid the house of nasty products. I have been buying eco friendly products for the most part but they are so expensive. I hope after investing in the basics the cost of making my own will be a lot less.
Have a good day.

Good morning
Happy birthday (again) to TA and Izzy, have a lovely day.
Very windy here, but I won't be venturing far. Yesterday was a bit of a disaster shopping wise, no butter that was on offer and no chickens. Trips around two diy stores and DH couldn't make up his mind. I came home shattered, what happened to the girl who loved shopping all day?
Pork belly strips for tea, with roasted veg.
Ruby, hope all goes ok at the clinic.
Haveca good day all, take care.

Morning all, grey dull and windy here- no rain yet so I suppose I'd better get Ldog out soon, he's not happy in the rain.TA and Izzy , hope you have a lovely day..
Snoozer, that does seem young for Nate- is it a nursery class perhaps ?
DH is off soon to get 4 new tyres put onto the car- seems never ending atm. The rattly bit was fixed on Tues,at least that was free.I'm going to use the time to have a good clean.
My hairdresser rang yesterday and is coming tomorrow, what with his illness and our viruses it has been far too long, my hair is an absolute mess.
Fish and chips from the M&s meal deal later, the haddock are massive and easily feed 3 of us.
Take care in the wind everyone.
