Sorry, yes, really bad week and head was fried from work when I replied quickly. I see the dates now and so have a little breathing space. Thanks for all the replies, really appreciated.

Apologies, I did misread or mistype your date of issue so: -
With an issue date of 18/02/26 and having completed the AoS in a timely manner your defence deadline date is 4.00 p.m. on 23/03/26

Thanks all for all your help, guidance and support on this forum. Stuck to my guns on this one as you suggest and today received the N279 form via email from DCB Legal.
Lost count of the amount of voicemail messages I had stating to contact them urgently + the offer settle correspondence email a couple of months ago - all duly ignored.
Court fees were due to be paid 12/11/26.
