Sainsbury’s staff ticket
My niece’s manager at Sainsbury’s took too long adding her number plate to the list of staff exemptions. She appealed her 4 tickets and won. However as she added all 4 Euro Car Park PCN numbers via 1 online form they are stating that only 1 ticket was appealed as she should have filled in 4 separate online forms. Of course, they only notified her of this once the appeal deadline had passed. She would, of course, have won all 4 appeals. Now DCBL are sending threatening letters and have increased her fine from £155 to £465. My niece has lived on her own and supported herself since she was 17. She’s now putting herself through uni and working at Sainsbury’s to make ends meet. ECP will no longer discuss as it’s gone to The debt collectors. Yes, I have read the entire newbies thread but feel that this is a bit unusual. Should we contact Sainsbury’s head office?

And tell her not to pay

Yes but if Sainburys refuse to rescue her from the threatograms, just let DCB Legal take it to a Court Claim, because they'll discontinue before the hearing and she'll pay nothing. They always discontinue.
Very easy admin as well, all covered in post 2 of the NEWBIES thread. No CCJ risked.
Tell her she MUST tell ECP and DCB if she moves house and must open all letters promptly (but that's common sense, not parking law specific).
Send her here when the Claim arrives later this year. We assume this isn't Scotland?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
