comparethemarket no quotes??

I pay £450 a year for my insurance on hastings direct, I looking at comparethemarket and only get one quote of £3,000. Has insurance doubled? or x3 for everyone?

I have 20+ years no claims, an nothing else like convictions, age 40.

The car is 2011 2.0L. Nothing special.

Anyone else had this? Is this a error?

No but if I did then I would just move on to Confused.com or another aggregator.

Premiums in general are down a little but individuals can see very different results. The fact there is only a single quote is more worrying that what that one quote is.

But even with my gf comes up with the same results. So its like either error or something attached to the address.

I can assure you that everyone's insurance hasn't nearly 7x in the past year - this forum would be absolute pandemonium!

So I looked at chatgbt and I wasnt entering the non fault claim where someone went into the back of me.

But still im getting about 6 insurers, £1,000 now. So I paid £450-£500, an now someone went into me (£0 damage claimed) its now £800-£1000.

All I can say is this is England…
