The search still continues. Went to 4 charity shops today 2 Princess Alice Hospice 2 BHF and 1 never heard off. They had a few sofas some of which looked like they've had a hard life!

didn't see anything I liked, sat on a few rude not too, and wow some are so low I feel like my knees are round my ears as I am sitting, then there was the getting of them mission!

I'm not old, still in my 40s yet I struggled to get off them

Aspiring to be financially independent.... from my parents!
  • If you liked your Halo, I’d stick with similar quality brands or go second hand — older sofas are often much better built than new ones. Look for higher seat height and firmer cushions so it doesn’t feel too low or sink over time. Ex-display or local independent shops can be worth checking too 👍
