Retaining Original Content of Quotes

What I did:

I came late to this thread

Nothing important — MoneySavingExpert Forum

One of the annoying ones where the original poster didn't like responses so went back and deleted the original post. Luckily someone responding had quoted the post further down

What Should happen:

I should be able to read the content of the original quoted post - I can see the first two lines of it but now need to click on a link to read the rest.

What happened:

When I clicked on the link it simply took me to the last post in the thread

Why it matters:

Being able to quote a post to retain the version originally posted is important, especially in cases like this one where a lot of people spend time responding and the OP then erases their original post.
