Dispute with IKEA about kitchen panel defect

Update:
Firstly thank you for all the advice. After getting nowhere on the phone we did as suggested and went into the store. We actually saw the guy who originally helped us with the design although he was busy with another customer so we were helped by a colleague. They took one look at the photos and said it should never have bubbled, that it was absolutely a defect not wear and tear, and were very sorry that customer services said that to us. They are going to follow that up with them apparently. New panel ordered and the Ikea fitter is here today, he has also inspected the other panels and there are 2 doors he is not happy with so is going to order replacements for those too as a precaution. He gave us a lot of technical insight as to possibly why the manufacturing went wrong, very detailed and helpful anyway. Ikea you have redeemed yourself…just!
