Hi
Misty here, well more like fog actually but being close to the river this often happens.
Not a great night and I woke up aching all over - possibly a combination of some gardening on a slope, and hanging off a step ladder cleaning the inside of the conservatory roof yesterday. Only did half of the latter so will need to finish that when I’ve limbered up 🫣
Other than I have some craft work to get finished and some cooking to do.
Hope everyone has a good Sunday. Thoughts with all the poorlies, and with DP1 hoping her parents can be settled in their new places.

Good morning - great start @AlwaysAllie. Hope your heating has been finally repaired properly @camelot1001
The drive home yesterday morning was so peaceful, not much traffic on the road, no rain and the waters were all still. Once home I faffed about unpacking, putting away and then did a white wash, unfortunately it was too late to hang it out so it's all on the airer upstairs. I caught up with GBBM Scottish chefs and had an early night.
As for today - apart from raking the rubbish away I no idea yet. 😀 My thoughts are with our poorlies, those who are missing and those who are having family difficulties especially with aging and ailing parents. Hugs to all.

Thanks for starting us off @AlwaysAllie
Another misty morning here. DH gone off to work for just a couple of hours so am having breakfast in bed.
Another quiet day today. DS coming to dinner and pick up his shopping. A fast food dinner today as I fancied a change. Pizza and chicken goujons and a couple of other yellow stickered bits I found in Marks the other day.
No sport worth watching today after dinner so will probably carry one watching Peaky Blinders which we are working our way through again.
Thinking of you @dp1
Have a good day all x

We saw Prima Facie last night at our local theatre - truly amazing solo performance by Jodie Comer. I am off to yoga shortly then we will potter in the garden later. Dinner is paprika chicken and rice - a new recipe for us.
Thinking of those with worries and sending hugs x

Meat is cooked I will do veg and Yorkshire puddings later . Not a lot happening today I caught up on washing yesterday I washed my new throw for the sofa I’ve had it a week but sick of been covered in fluff it dried and is now back in place much better no more fluff I washed walking around like a yeti. Thanks again for all the Birthday wishes, I had a lovely day and got completely spoilt, I was very lucky there is still one present to come from OH which got delayed in the post. The meal at the pub was disappointing for me, we all had steak which was beautifully cooked but covered in rosemary which I hate and makes me feel sick, so I left it and had the chips and green beans, thinking about it I should have sent it back as it didn’t say it had rosemary on it, but it was a nice evening and we came back and lit the fire and watched a film.
Onto today DD is working a late shift so just OH and I here for dinner I have some lovely thick pork chops and I will do either roast or mash potatoes and veg, I need to do a shop later too.
I need to hoover through and mop the floors and fold my washing and put it away. And hopefully get some bulbs in later.
DP1 thinking of you xx
Have good days all and take care xx9 -

@dp1 I hope your parents are both settling, I can't imagine how difficult this must be for you x
@RedRuby1231 will you still be working with O once his new carers have settled in to their roles?

Morning All
Thanks for the start Allie, be careful on the ladders!
It's sort of bright today, I'll hang the washing out anyway. Just been for a swim so will put a towel wash on in a bit.
Party last night was good, met a few folk I haven't seen for a while so it was good to catch up. I only had half a glass of wine, such a lightweight! I crept about this morning so as not to wake my lodger but just met her going home in her dressing gown (only over the road) when I came back from swimming. She will be staying here again tonight then it's all back to normal.
Going to meet up with DD and the little one for a bit of shopping later, the garden can wait.
Hope the poorlies are feeling better and all is well in your world. Take care. XX
