Morning - I'm home! Had a smooth train journey to Glasgow yesterday, no delay, and then took a taxi to Alan's place. We had a quietly good evening watch demand TV with a glass of wine. Once again we resorted to a chippy tea 😋 too. I left fairly early though had to de-frost my car first.

Happy holidays @ScarletRibbons and happy birthday @RedRuby1231 and so sorry about your heating @camelot1001, hope it is fixed by now.

My cleaner had been whilst I was away so the place is dusted and vacuumed. New pillows have arrived which I'll use tonight. I need to unpack and then I'll be sorted.

@remmie - So sorry to hear your DD seems to be having problems. We always worry about our offspring, whatever their age and being there for them is the most important thing we can do.

@camelot - Fingers crossed the heating engineer turned up and has sorted out your heating/hot water today.

Yesterday I had my much awaited hair appointment after some confusion with the new booking system she's using. It sent me a text message the night before cancelling but fortunately she realised what had gone wrong and texted first thing in the morning to say 'ignore, it's still on'! I've had 3-4" taken off and my fringe put back in - honestly, I feel (and look) 10 years younger so worth every penny. 😃 Today has been a Spring clean day in the living room and DS has moved some of the furniture around for me. Nothing has been taken out but it looks more spacious and sociable. I have a couple of photos to frame and hang yet but that's a job for tomorrow. Tea tonight is a mushroom risotto, something we both enjoy. After that, it's feet up and chill.
