PayPal debt through gambling

@ManyWays it'll keep happening to others though. I've paid almost all of it off but I've lost £5k because of my own stupid addiction (facilitated by PP) and I don't even really care I'd just be happy to close my account and never hear about PayPal ever again. But I really don't see how this should be allowed to happen. They stopped credit card payments to gambling sites for this reason, it's not much different. I'm not trying to get any money back if that's what you think. That is clearly not a possibility, I spent it. And I'm well used to writing off money I've lost! That is no problem for me personally. I just don't want others getting in such a mess as I have, or worse. I don't think it's too much to ask for PayPal to stop this happening, all they have to do is block this type of delayed payment to gambling sites.

I agree with you.
But this forum is for practical advice to people with debt problems, hence my response.1 -
@ManyWays good point! I just didn't know where else to post. Didn't wanna go to a gambling addiction community and advertise the issue. Maybe I will contact the UKGC and see what they say.
