"Letter of claim" from DCB legal. Northern Ireland
Hi there! Sorry if this is repetitive but I'm really anxious about this as money is a bit tight.
My car apparently overstayed at a Belfast Euro Car park last year, I have since sold the car and moved to England but the letters followed me. I ignored them. Now I have this letter of claim from DCB legal asking for £170.
My worry is, how likely is it that this goes to court? If it does what does it involve, do I need to travel to court? Hire a lawyer? I'm sorry I'm rather dumb about this.

Any advice will be much appreciated!

My worry is, how likely is it that this goes to court?
Zero. It is a baseless threat.
They don't even attend hearings in England or Wales (claims are dropped) and certainly won't progress this one in NI.

Are DCB Legal writing to your former NI address, or to you at your current address in England? By the way, the sale of the car is not relevant.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
