I don't think there are any fixes left to have now - they seem to have been pulled.

Thank you all so much for your feed back. I did forget to mention that there are no exit fees with Octopus.. obviously does not follow for other suppliers. I have been watching prices and pondering for about a week now and I really don't believe there is a "right" answer. Its gonna have to be a leap of faith and a look over the shoulder down the road. Again - thanks guys

Octopus are now applying exit fees for new tariffs.

I’m with octopus and my fixed term doesn’t finish until November, I can re fix now and there’s no exit fees if I switch but if I accept their newer offer an exit fee will be included if prices drop so I’d be scuppered. Tempted just to switch gas tbh to fuse and their gas fixed tariff is zero exit fees if they do drop after wards. Wish I had a crystal ball

They have always done so historically (unless they go bust).
Removing fixed rates sure, but one's already contracted out should be fine.

I dont know if was 2022 but I do remember a period of when gas tracker was around 3-4p yeah, the problem is not just the market though, but also that the formula is now changed for tracker.

We are all likely to be paying more, don't see how anyone can escape the inevitable price increases that will feed thru to everything. According to today's media heating oil has already risen considerably.
