On disability benefits but need a credit card

Yes, you can still get a credit card while on disability benefits. Most banks consider disability income as valid income, but approval depends on your credit score and overall profile. If getting a regular card is difficult, a secured credit card is a good option since it’s easier to get and helps build your credit. Just make sure to spend carefully and pay on time to avoid debt.

I have no savings nor the ability to borrow from anyone else.
With respect, if you cannot afford to save how will you find the money to make credit card or loan repayments? A credit card in particular, is a very expensive way of borrowing money - unless, of course, your can qualify for one with an interest-free period. Perhaps some of the other suggestions, such as a budgeting loan, might be the way to go.
