AVG Help

Hi, can someone help please? My subscribition to AVG was due today but unfortuantly I misread the date and there were insufficient funds to cover it so the payment failed. My fault of course.

I have updated card details, it says successfull but doesnt say when they will try again for payment. Trying to contact them is an absolute nightmare - no chat or phone details availiable. Everytime I try to access chat I just get caught in an endless loop of doom going round and round the Help pages. I've tried phone and laptop but no joy.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

I would ask if you really need to be renewing the subscription? Is there something special in the paid for package you need?

Windows defender should be good enough for your daily needs. Or use the AVG free package.

Other than that just wait until they actually take the payment. They'll try again soon enough...

I find it interesting that people pay for something that they can have for free or already have cover elsewhere. Buy a new car and it comes with free RAC breakdown cover yet they pay for AA - came across it on a regulae basis for example and of course there is Defender

Ditch AVG. Use the Windows built in Defender for free.
