eBay: lowest to highest sorting & also can't purchase.

What's going on with this? I've been trying to buy car parts this week. I search an item & it brings up a list. Top few items are generally ok but it tends to be if you scroll for a bit you'll get the same thing for cheaper with another seller.

So I sort inc. P&P lowest to highest, so in theory it should do that.

Some times the listing that was originally in the top lot is then totally gone.

But more annoyingly than that is i'll scroll & the opening items are say £10 then as I scroll it's £11, £13 (all good so far right), then it'll be a few around £40-£60), then down to £5.

I'm just plucking these numbers out of the air but the example is basically this. Sorting lowest to highest used to funnily enough, sort lowest to highest, so why doesn't it do that now?

CAN'T PURCHASE:

Just bought some parts a few minutes ago. Forgot something else I needed to buy, went to place the order & got a "something went wrong" red error message.

Checked my bank - plenty to cover it. Put some more in anyway in case pending things were an issue (even though they wont be) went to place the order again - same error.

Are you using the ebay app or website? What kind of device?

Think I sorted the can't purchase one - I'm assuming it's something to do with the seller, even though they're a business seller with big feedback numbers.

I was trying from my PC more than once. Went to work & tried on my break - same trouble.

Tried ordering the same part from someone else which was just 4p dearer, purchase went through straight away.

As for the sorting though - I'm still stumped.

And I primarily use eBay on the PC. I don't really like doing it via the app & only do this when needs must.

Been having the similar issues over the past week trying to buy a couple of items,
tried the app and various browsers with little success then suddenly it starts working.

After a few attempts it would goto the payment page, if I choose Paypal it would get stuck on the
final payment screen, but it would be grey similar to when a popup box opens over the main
page but there is nothing open and I have tried various browsers and the app with the same results.

This was mostly on my android phone (Samsung Galaxy) even with freshly downloaded browsers.

Just to add since you mentioned it - I was trying to pay via PayPal also.

And I had my pop up blocker turned off as I was going through TCB & had recently found it wasn't always tracking.
