Morning all
Well done Ruby, hopefully she can relax a bit more with extra help
@dp1 oh I'm so sorry you've had such a torrid time. Thinking of you x
Painting done, as usual it always looks darker than you expected but it's brightened the room up.
Just finished housework and having a well deserved cuppa. Nothing else planned but might get out into the garden again with such a bright day on the cards. Next doors trees don't let the sun into the garden much at this time of the year though. That's another story though ☹️
Have a lovely day all x

Morning all, thanks @Ruby for today's start. I hope the two new potential carers work out for O and his mum and that you have a nice day out today.
It's quite misty here this morning but the sun should break through soon to give us another nice day. Top temps could even reach 15 deg.
Apart from a walk up to the shops for milk and a TV guide I've not got much to do today so will bring forward some of tomorrow's jobs when I have a hairdresser's appointment. Last time A persuaded me to try my hair a bit longer but I'm not keen (it's looking like rat's tails hanging down 😮) so I'll be asking her to cut off more than just an inch. Tea tonight is Cornish pasty with gravy, cauli and peas.
@TA - Glad your day out went well even if you didn't get to where you'd planned on going. I know what you mean about hanging around for buses - not so bad in nice weather, but not much fun during the colder months.
@Gers - Glad to hear you're having a good time and fingers crossed your return journey home is less eventful.
@remmie - Forgot to say yesterday that the time will soon pass until your cataract appointment - you might even be offered one sooner if someone cancels.
@dp1 - I'm so sorry to hear you're having such an awful time with your mam and dad. Special hugs to you and your brother. X
So many on here due for car MOTs or having issues with cars, I hope you're all mobile again soon. As usual, hugs where needed or wanted and a wave to our MIA. Have a good day all, take care. X
Be kind to others and to yourself too.10 -
@dp1 How awful for everyone! Typical hospital communication I'm afraid, regarding not telling your brother she was being moved. I do hope they are found a place together but there are going to be a lot of loose ends to be tied up. Wishing you and your brother all the very best xx

Dp1 it's so sad when the time comes for parents needing. residential care. Your DM's decline seems to happened so quickly. I hope they can be found a place together. Thinking of you all x

Good morning
Dp1, so sorry to read about your mum and dad, such an upsetting time for all of you. Sending big hugs.
Bright and sunny, looks like a lovely spring day. Today is my DS 46 birthday, I'll message him but don't expect a reply.
Southern fried chicken steaks with salad tonight, thanks to the better weather.
Have a good day all, take care.
