NatWest slight issue
So I open my NatWest Current account & savings account in 2024!
ever since then my statements for both accounts came in same envelope via post & produced on the same day
For some reason this month they haven’t as only received current account statement (both produced on 27th) & when I phoned NatWest they says for security reasons & how they are printed should be in 1 envelope & should of always been like that!
is this correct I am confused? Did the agent tell me wrong

why does it matter?

Well it does matter!
what if my savings account statement was meant to be in same envelope but instead was put with another customers statements in different envelope!
I am just asking that’s all

If you are that concerned about a paper statement going astray you should go paperless.

Probably didn’t happen but was just wondering why it changed this month that’s all

Just move to paperless then the post never goes missing and you save a tree.
All your statements are available online regardless.

If you've followed GTR's posts and threads you'll see that they prefer to collect paper statements.
I prefer paperless, but each to their own.

You could check online to see whether the savings account statements might have defaulted to online for some unknown reason. Or maybe the frequency of the savings account statements could have been changed to 3 or 6 monthly, or even yearly, but you'd have to ask about that by phone.
These are just ideas that might help.
Like you, I prefer paper statements. 🙂

my savings account statements are set to paper!
normally they come in same envelope as current account which this time they didn’t for some reason but it was produced same time as current Account can view it in inbox! Will check the post when I get home to see if Savings account statement has arrived
I will never go fully paperless at moment don’t
Fully trust it & as Autistic male I prefer paper for now!
I was just checking to see if it has happened to anyone else0 -
Curious as to why you don't trust paperless but do trust an easily intercepted/stolen paper copy that has all your details on it?
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I think poster stating they are Autistic is reason enough, otherwise it gets into the realms of having to explaining a disability.
