Horizon charge re Tesco Hove

hi folks, any help appreciated. I’ve come home from holiday to a charge notice dated 16th Feb. £70 fine. I was in the carpark 46 minutes and have screenshot of credit card payment for shop, but no receipt. Any suggested form of words very welcome.
thank you

Read the other similar case threads on here for that location, anything in the last year ( or two. )

Also study the newbies sticky thread in announcements near the top of the forum by coupon mad

Plan A is ALWAYS the best option in these cases

Will do. Not too late for Plan A?

Its never too late for plan A, but you should be complaining as keeper for now, no implying who was driving

Plus, check that NTK PCN letter for Pofa2012 compliance, or non compliance

However, I hear Tesco Hove aren't cancelling them. Easy enough to beat though.

Did you miss the POPLA Decision I posted this week? Tesco Hove, easy win.

Did you find the other threads with all the photos of the inadequate signs?

Hi I wonder if anyone can help? We stayed in a Travel Lodge in Aston, Birmingham for one night in February. Today we received a Parking Fine for £51 (or £85 if paid later) from Horizon for not paying the charge of £8 at the hotel reception. On phoning the Travel Lodge I was told there were signs both in the car park and at the desk and they normally ask if we had paid but on this occasion they did not tell us. We just assumed the car park was part of the hotel as is the case with most hotels. We never saw any signs and to be honest we are really quite upset that the desk staff didn't let us know. So my question is can we ignore this letter and is it legally a parking fine?

It's obviously not a fine. Read the MSE Guide to orivate parking tickets linked at the top of the forum.
