Santander open banking payment limit

hi, does anyone know if the payment limit for open banking is £25k per transaction (max £100k per day) the same as faster payments? Thks

I asked customer services about the Open Banking payment limit, but their representative did not know. She said that the MasterCard debit card limit was set by MasterCard daily and that the limit was published on MasterCard's website. That appears to be nonsense. I was once told that Santander's MasterCard limit was £50K, but Santander may change that a little when it suits them. If so, I expect that they like to blame MasterCard.

HL allows credits by Open Banking Pay-by-Bank. I successfully sent £20K to HL using Pay-by-Bank. I then tried to send another £20K, but it was declined. I then successfully made a £40K debit card payment. As a result, I did not ring Santander to ask why the second £20K was declined.

Thanks for the info, yes I was told the same re the debit card £50k limit and it did indeed appear to apply in practice when I had to make a large card payment.
