Missed letter before claim deadline

Hi all,

Looking for some guidance please. The information here is amazing but a bit overwhelming!!!

I’ve received a Letter Before Claim from Gladstones (for Minster Baywatch) - £155 charge for parking slightly outside a marked bay in a retail car park.

The encroachment is so minimal ( one tyre half on the line!) . I unfortunately missed the 30-day response window on the Letter Before Claim and have now received a follow-up warning that court proceedings are imminent.

What should my next step be at this stage? Is it still worth sending a PAP response, or should I now wait for a claim and defend?

    Yes maybe a claim will follow but don't be scared. Just respond now. Their deadlines don't mean anything!

    Gladstones (for Minster Baywatch) might not even reach claim stage - they sometimes stop at LBC - but I would go and get photos of the signs this month, as evidence. You should particularly look for any signs that actually say the site is run by Bransby Wilson.
