    It's a question of pain or gain. It's nigh impossible trying to guess what the orange-painted loonie in the White House is likely to say or do next, or where markets will go, and making good investment decisions is hard enough even in normal times. But if losing money would have an intolerable impact on our lives then selling the lot and recognising that we were running too much risk in the first place, might be the right decision.

    It's like insurance, avoiding risk has to be paid for, and overly avoiding risk costs in the long run.
