    In my day as a long term meter reader I found lots of rotting or collapsing backboards with electric meters hanging off them . I reported the dangerous meters/backboards to the supplier

    It was always up to the local DNO to do the work who got instructions from the supplier .Its hardly anything to do with the home occupier/owner as its not their property .
