Premier Park v Ms. Kay

Hi.

Time to start my own thread on this; just to clarify, I'm not Ms. Kay, just helping her fighting this ticket.

Ticket is from 12/24, N1 issued 12/25, which is when she phoned me.

AoS filed on MCOL 12/25.

Defense filed on MCOL, 01/26. MCOL confirms receipt 28.01, and copy sent to claimant, who must advise court on how they wish to proceed within 28 days or claim will be stayed.

03/02, email from Gladstones with their completed DQ and copy to courts.

So far, so simple.

Where we're at: I advised Ms. Kay to watch out for her N180 forms, but nothing has come yet. I'm getting a bit concerned about that, and don't want her to fall through the cracks, and miss a deadline in responding late.

I've d/loaded an N180 myself and filled it in, ready to go, but I'd like your opinion: should we wait for the courts (and Royal Mail!), or send back the .pdf version I've completed straight away?

Second question: there seem to be an ongoing disagreement about whether to send it by post or by email. It's been a while since I've done one of those, so what's the current thinking?

Thanks in advance. 😊

    No court is currently involved

Sgw should login to MCOL and see if they actually have posted the N180 out to her

If yes, email the downloaded pdf to the DQ email address ( definitely not by post. )

If not, wait until MCOL says its been posted, then email it ( definitely not by post. )

There is no disagreement, study and follow the 8 steps in the defence template thread in announcements

The delays are not unusual, but check !

Well, what would you know, lol? When we checked last week, it still only said defence received and sent.

She just looked after reading your reply, and it says DQ has been sent to her on 25/02.

    Ah well, all good then.

I'll keep you updated as we go along! Thank you again! 😊

Just don't use the paper version and no scanning or sending page images of the N180.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
