I’m working until 3 though have a long gap between two exam sessions so might have a wander around the shops, haven’t been round town for weeks. Lighter longer days means a dog walk will be possible when I get back.

Morning, thanks Gers, yes, it's light here, and dry!

I haven't posted for a couple of days, we lead such a quiet life these days that sometimes my posts are so boring that I imagine people falling asleep whilst reading them.

I sometimes think of Dumpling and family. I wonder how they all are.

WWe are going away for a week on Saturday so we're looking forward to that. We're only going down to North Yorkshire, nowhere dangerous. We have friends in Dubai at the moment, they're saying it's scary.

It wIll just be the usual Monday here, visiting my old friend up the road and housework.

Morning all

The sun is already peeping out it’s meant to be lovely all day, I hope so things can start drying out then. I am off to mums this morning and she has a diabetic check at the Dr at 9 so I am going in a bit earlier I finish there at 2 and am then working this evening with O, I don’t usually work evenings but she asked me to do it as a favour O is in a play at a local theatre and she can’t leave her dog who has been poorly so I’ve said I will accompany him, I think they only put the plays on once a year so hopefully it won’t be a regular thing.

I will have four hours off between shifts so I will come home and have a rest and a shower and an early dinner and then head out, OH will walk up and meet me once I am back as it will be dark by that time.

Dinner tonight will be some chicken and salad left over from yesterday, OH can either have that or get himself a curry meal, I think I know what he would prefer!

I have put a wash on this morning and will hang it out before work.

morning everyone it’s dry but rain is forecast for later I’m off out to meet my friend for a coffee and a catch up she was away last week in Scarborough so I will hear all about it . Plenty of meat left off yesterday so we will be having Yorkshire pudding and vega again today and there’s enough for hubby a sandwich at lunchtime for the next couple of days I have homemade soup I’m still trying to drop some pounds well a lot of pounds I haven’t done to bad up until Xmas but I’ve lost nothing since then I’m blaming the dark grey days and the rain but back on it now no excuses. I will be trying to use as much of the freezer as I can the next couple of weeks as we go away for a week then apart from trying to save some money I must try and get them down I like the one in the garage empty for the summer then I turn it off ready to clean out and start filling it again for Xmas therese only two of us you would think I was feeding the street . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing

Morning folks and thanks GERS. A mixed bag of weather here so it could go either way! Looking out of the front windows it's very grey, whilst looking from the back windows there is blue sky and white clouds. Yesterday's drizzle never happened and we had quite a nice day. Maybe today will be the same, says she hopefully!

A day of same old same old, going nowhere and various jobs lurking. I must cut back on news watching as it's really depressing/worrying me.

A bit of catching up to do on tv stuff I've recorded. Pottery throw down top of the list. I do admire their talent, much better than my efforts when a DF and I went for evening classes in our late teens! Enough said about that!

Morning again - all ablutions done and first coffee drunk.

My Sunday was a haze of clearing out the bedside drawers, the wee ones I use all the time. Just how many tubes of creams and lotions? Far too many. At least everything needed is now in one place, including five tubes of ibuprofen gel, and I can see clearly what's there. Job well done. I enjoyed watching two golden oldie films on TV, sometimes the old ones are the best.

Today I have some last minute shopping to do so will go up to the big town, take away the recycling, soft plastics and domestic rubbish bags on the way.

Morning all and thanks for the start @Gers I did an inventory of all my body care products at the start of the year. Seems I have an abundance of hand cream!

Sunny here! I’m working today, then need to drop off a V!nted package at the post office. Dinner is an easy tuna pasta bake.

(For obvious reasons) I’m worried about my Dad who lives in Cyprus.

New garage door and frames are on order @camelot1001 but there’s only one manufacturer in the UK so how long it will take is anyone’s guess.

Morning everyone

It's a nice bright morning here, the forecast says it's thick cloud and drizzle!

I had a nice afternoon at DDs yesterday, played Monopoly - a Hello Kitty version - with little one and had a couple of cuddles with little foster baby, who is getting more used to being held.

TA - I'm the same it's too easy to keep reading the news on a phone. We had noticed there were a lot of low flying planes over us last week, they must have been training.

Little one is coming later this morning, I have all her craft things ready. I have new curtains and a lampshade to put up in her bedroom and want to get some bolognese sauce cooking before she arrives.

Sun shining here so a bit nippy weatherwise

Just back from shopping as I had to get a few fresh bits that we didn't have because of our holiday. Had the phone call yesterday afternoon offering us a full refund which we happily accepted. Just feel very lucky that we weren't already out there and not being able to get home. Seeing some horror stories on the news and on Faceache page. So sad.

Nothing else planned today except will hang some washing out in the sunshine for a change.
