Morning all and thanks @Gers back at you with white rabbits. Always reminds me of @dumpling 😢
I’m at yoga first thing then taking mum food shopping. We have a tip run booked for this afternoon with both garden waste (removed a dead tree yesterday) plus some household bits. Hoping it all fits in the car!
Dinner later will be tagliatelle with chicken and mushrooms - nice and easy. We finished watching Small Prophets last night - highly recommend it.
Have a good Sunday all

Good morning
Thank you for the start @Gers
Wet again, we've only had one nice day this week. Planted a few seeds which will hopefully grow on the window sill.
Nothing happening and nothing planned
Take care

@Coxy11 another Small Prophets fan here. Really enjoyed it
Have been trying to contact holiday people to cancel our trip but can't get through to anyone. Not surprised though. On the Faceache page people are saying that they are contacting people nearer to their flight time so might hear from them today. So disappointed but better to be safe than sorry.
Today I will be putting all the holiday stuff away. Thai curry for dinner then sitting down to some footie.
Have a good day all x

Morning All
Thanks for the start Gers.
It's drizzly this morning and very gloomy, a change from yesterday that saw blue skies, sunshine but a brisk breeze.
We went to the seaside yesterday and it was fabulous. Fish and chips in the car (the chip shop is only a take away) whilst watching the sun twinkling on the sea with the windows wide open. Had a wander about then came home. I feel quite energised by the little jaunt.
Hope you get everything in the car Coxy - any news about the garage doors?
Hope your DH enjoyed his birthday Remmie.
Well done on the decluttering Gers, glad you enjoyed the venison.
So many concerts Mehefin!
Those garden pots are a bargain Ruby, well done.
Fingers crossed your holiday can go ahead Chrisca. We saw the Dubai Emirates plane come into Glasgow yesterday but it was still there when we came home some hours later, heard later it had been cancelled.
Hope your DS is ok after his tumble YL.
Hope the tooth extraction goes well for your DH WL. That Hurdy Gurdy looks very difficult!
Enjoy the zoo with the little one dp1.
I've got some Thai carrot soup on the go for lunches this week, smelling lovely. May have a trip to Costco today, will wait and see what friend across the road wants to do.
I haven't heard from the car hire company so it looks like they've found the car thank goodness.
Have a peaceful Sunday, take care. XX

Thanks for the start @Gers , and Dydd Gwyl Dewi Hapus 🏴 to all our Welsh folks
As predicted there was much pressure washing yesterday, and there’ll be more later then the main bit will be done. There’s about the same again which is newer with resin grout which the builder said not to pressure wash 😬 it could do with it though!
@Chrisca50 - so sad about your holiday. Not sure who you’re booked with but having worked in the travel industry I know they’ll be very busy and possibly trying to deal with this people travelling in the next few days and currently abroad (doesn’t make it any easier for you but I’m sure they’ll be in touch). Hope you can rebook somewhere else.
Take care all

Morning folks and thanks GERS. I often think about DUMPLING, wondering how her family are going on. I'll bet it is more years than we think since we lost her.
We have some blue sky and sunshine at the moment but the inevitable showers are forecast again so who knows what we will end up with.
CHRISCA so sorry about your much anticipated holiday but how much worse would it have been if you were already in Dubai. I hope the travel company are soon in touch and then you know where you stand re cancellation or alternative holiday..
I currently have the bedding chugging away in the wm, but I think I would be pushing my luck pegging it out. So on the airer it will go with the dehumidifier doing it's thing.
I treat myself to a rather pricey steak in ale pie yesterday so that is going to be my lunch, probably with mashed spuds, carrots and peas, and minted gravy.
Have a good day folks if you can with ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. Take care all, be safe xx

Morning all, thanks Gers. I haven't caught up with yesterdays thread so hope you are all ok.
Sorry about your hol Chrisca. We loved Small Prophets too, could easily watch again :)
Not much happening here.We watched DGS team get through to a semi final by the skin of their teeth through penalties, the team celebration was lovely to watch though I felt sorry for the other boys. After that home to watch more football and then a curry. Nothing planned for today although DGD said she might see us if Ds will bring her.
Take care all

Morning everyone
Gers I was reminded of Dumpling as soon as I read your post too
The talk about Lowry was excellent, the speaker was a lady from the Lowry museum in Manchester, she got me thinking I could have a trip there. The rain kept away until I was just home, so I quickly got the washing in - it was all dry.
Chrisca it's such a shame about your holiday, I hope you can sort out an alternative.
I can't remember if I said little one sprained her ankle tripping over a toy, she's ok walking a short distance but has decided walking round the zoo will make it hurt too much, so we're not going to go on Monday. She's going to spend the day with me making birthday and Mothers Day cards instead.
I'm going down to their house this afternoon, so DD can get some jobs done, I'm looking forward to it.
Right best get moving, I want to get my ironing done before I go down to mam and dads, I have a load of shopping to take from my Tesco delivery yesterday.
Oh I had a chat to DD last night, she's in a place called Siblu in Romania and has sent lots of photos, it looks beautiful with a couple of amazingly ornate churches.
Hope everyone has a good day x

Morning all
Back to pouring rain today 🙄 it was nice to see the sun yesterday and I got the washing almost dry, todays lot will have to go on the airer.OH put the cupboard up in the utility yesterday and the mirror and the new air brick cover thing, it will all have to come down for decorating but it was all in the way and cluttering the room up so they are up for now, just the skirting, tiles and the small door to make, which will hopefully happen next weekend. I am going to organise the cupboard today and move all the washing supplies out of the cleaning cupboard into the new one should give us a bit more room.
Dinner today will be chicken salad with some coleslaw and crusty bread, I think the few days of sunshine seduced me into thinking it was spring, we would have been better off with a roast!
Dogs to be walked later and then a lazy afternoon.
Chrisca what a shame about your holiday, hopefully you can re- book xxx
Have good days all and take care xx11 -
