We have hired both Toyota Yaris Auto and Peugeot 208 Auto and both were nice cars. The Yaris is probably a better bet with a budget of £7k as Toyotas last & last

There is nothing to suggest the test would be in the daughter’s , rather than the instructor’s.

Daughter could use her own car for practice and when she had passed her test.

They work in the same way, only instead of your arm power, a electric motor is used 🤦‍♀️

OP for the budget I doubt you will find a small auto with an electronic hand brake, most small cars have manual hand brakes even brand new ones

See the cost of an electric handbrake to get fixed, compared to that of a manual handbrake, having had that experience I'd never have an electric handbrake again.
