Hi Folks,

I have a Karcher pressure washer which needs repairing. I optimistically tried one of the Karcher centres only to be met with a very nice young guy who knew less than me, no engineers on site and no-one who could give me any information about the leak, Despite phoning beforehand to check above! So I am not going back to any Karcher centre.

Any recommendations for Karcher repair people who actually know what they're doing, can diagnose properly and advise if it can be repaired. I live in west London and am happy to drive a fair way to get this sorted.

Did you by any chance, leave it outside/in a shed when it was below zero degrees?
This is well known way to cause them to malfunction.
Is it working and just leaking a bit, or are you unable to generate any pressure?

They are quite “DIYable” if you can use a screwdriver and pliers. Parts are also readily available.

Thanks for all replies - now with an independent repairer just a few miles away.
bjorn_toby_wilde - I have a shoulder injury at the moment, otherwise would be more than willing to repair myself.
