ebay gsp return request- timeframe

I sold an item via the gsp, posted it, and it was delivered to the gsp hub today.

Also today, buyer has messaged me to say they have purchased incorrectly and can the sale be cancelled before the item leaves the country.

Busers fault completely so I don't want to spend hours trying to contact ebay and trying to get them to return it to me (which I expect is impossible anyway)

I can accept or refuse the return and I only have 4 days to do one or the other..

If I accept, how long does the buyer have to return the item?

Does the clock start from when I accept the return or from when the item is delivered to the buyer?

If I accept now and it takes another few weeks to get delivered and return to me is it going to get back in time or will the return time-out before this?

If it times out and I manually refund what I received when the item arrives back will the buyer still get the gsp and import fees etc refunded as well?

    Ps,

Even if it's the buyers error I believe it would still be best for me to accept the return rather than decline it?

Buyer has selected 'just didn't like it' as the reason for return.

Am I correct in thinking that if I decline the return they could then still open a SNAD when the item arrives which would leave me paying for the international return postage?

I would contact Ebay on this one as only they can say whether the item can be stopped.

If they say the parcel can't be stopped, you will just have to message the buyer and tell them that, you could also suggest that you had quite a lot of interest and it may be worth them selling it on themselves if they don't want it. Was it valuable?

As it's an ebay GSP ebay need to handle it. You will need to refer the buyer to ebay and explain that it is with them and you have no way to recall it.

Personally I also follow up with a quick call to ebay as well, or even live chat to explain what has happened.
