We moved in 18 months ago and had no paperwork or info about the boiler. It started making a loud banging noise so I switched it off and rang WB. It turns out it is 5 years old and the warranty finished 4 days before I rang them..
However they said we could have it sorted under the warranty for up to 30 days after the 5 years ended. An engineer came two days later, replaced a couple of parts, did a full test and all for no charge.
