Conditions of entry

1.    This prize draw (the "Promotion") is only open to legal residents of Great Britain (excluding Northern Ireland). Any employees or agents of either the Promoter and/or the Prize Administrator and/or any company connected with the production or distribution of this Promotion, as well as any members of their immediate family (e.g., spouse, parent, child, sibling) and persons living in the same household as them, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter this Promotion.

2.    Entrants must be aged 18 years or over at the time of entry. Proof of eligibility must be provided upon request.  By entering the Promotion, you are deemed to accept and be bound by these terms and conditions.

3.    Enter between 00:01 GMT on Sunday, March 1, 2026, and 23:59 GMT on Sunday, March 8, 2026, inclusive (the “Promotion Period”). 

4.    The Promotion is free to enter; however, internet access and a valid Mail account at Mailrewards.co.uk are required. Entrants can enter the prize draw by either:

Winner

6.    There will be one winner. The winner will win:

The Prize:    One seven-night (7) all-inclusive holiday for two (2) adults at Sandals Ochi in Jamaica, in one luxury (lead in) level room with a king size bed (subject to availability and selected blackout dates listed below) and two (2) economy class return flights from London, subject to availability.

The Prize must be redeemed before 1st March 2027. 

The resort accommodations are inclusive of all meals, unlimited premium brand beverages, daily and nightly entertainment, an array of land and water sports activities, including scuba diving (for certified divers), snorkelling, Wi-Fi in all rooms and public areas, resort gratuities, resort taxes and resort transfers to and from the designated resort’s airport.

The Prize excludes: Domestic transfers, including any internal flights in the Caribbean or transportation to London or elsewhere in the UK, spending money, telephone calls, Red Lane® Spa treatments and services, specialty dining, tours and excursions, inter-island transportation, scuba certification courses, island departure taxes and purchases made at the Sandals Resorts Specialty Shops. All expenses and incidental travel costs that are not expressly stated in the Prize package description, including but not limited to, all ground transportation (outside of local airport transfers in the Caribbean), travel insurance, passenger tariffs or duties, airline fees, surcharges, airport fees, baggage fees, service charges or facility charges, personal charges at lodging, security fees and taxes. Travel insurance, Covid tests, Visas and ESTAs are not included and must be purchased before travel, if required.

The Prize winner and their travel companion must be over 18 and must travel on the same itinerary. 

Passports are required for international travel and must have at least six months remaining from when the trip finishes (i.e. the date the winner and their travel companion travel home).

The Prize cannot be taken during peak seasons (Easter, July, August, December and New Year) and cannot be confirmed until 90 days prior to departure. Blackout dates and restrictions apply. Sandals Resorts’ blackout dates include but are not limited to March 29th - April 20th 2026, 21st - November 29th 2026, 21st – 31st December 2026, 1st – 3rd January 2027, 14th February 2027.

Once dates are confirmed there will be an administration fee for any changes made to the reservations. This fee varies in accordance with the airline. 

The Prize is strictly non-transferable; no cash alternative is available, and the Prize cannot be redeemed for cash. If the winner is unable to redeem the Prize within the specified time the Prize will be forfeited. 

Sandals Resorts are for adults only and made for couples. All accommodations include one king size bed.

Sandals Resorts reserves the right to relocate the Prize winner from the stated resort to an alternative Sandals Resort if rooms become unavailable for the travel dates booked due to any circumstance beyond their control. Sandals Resorts reserves the right to substitute the selected resort for another resort in the selected resort’s chain in a similar category based on availability of space for the secured travel dates, and to change dates without prior notice for any circumstance(s) beyond the selected resort’s control and if such circumstance(s) so require. The Terms and Conditions agreed to shall apply with equal applicability to any resort, which is the subject of substitution or deviation.  Neither Unique Caribbean Holidays Ltd. nor Sandals Resorts shall be liable for any claim made whatsoever, including but not limited to loss, compensation, or refund by reason of such substitution or deviation.

As a condition for being awarded the Prize your agree to release and hold harmless the Prize Provider and its affiliated companies and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents and insurers from and against any and all claims, causes of action and/or liability for any injuries, illness, death, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in and/or entry into the competition or receipt or possession, use or misuse of the Prize or any element thereof.

Health and Safety: Sandals Resort reserves the right to implement or modify health protocols, policies and procedures at any time as needed, in keeping with public health guidance and applicable law.

Guests are responsible for checking the travel and entry protocols for the destination that they are travelling to before they depart and ensuring that they fully understand and comply with any such protocols. Guests should visit the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (“FCDO”) website before travel and check the official Government website for the country they’re visiting for all travel protocols and entry requirements. Unique Caribbean Holidays Limited and Sandals Resorts International Ltd. shall not be responsible for any additional costs incurred for any pre-travel or post-travel requirements. 

Compliance With Government Entities: The Unique Group, and Sandals Resorts and/or any of its related entities shall have the right to comply with any and all orders, recommendations, or directions whatsoever given by any government entity or by persons purporting to act with such authority, and such compliance shall not be deemed a breach of any agreement or any agreement entitling the guests to assert any claim for liability, compensation or refund.

Any amendments and/or cancellation of a competition prize will be made in line with current travel policies at the time that the amendment and/or cancellation is made. If the FCDO advises against travel to the destination that the prize winner is due to travel to, or if the destination closes its borders to commercial flights, or if flights are cancelled by the airline or if the entry protocols in the destination requires guests to quarantine in room, the trip may be cancelled by Unique Caribbean Holidays Ltd. If a guest cancels their trip without a valid reason, Unique Caribbean Holidays Ltd. reserves the right to charge the guest for any costs incurred as a result of the cancellation.  

All guests are required to provide evidence of comprehensive travel insurance before reservations are made for travel. Unique Caribbean Holidays Limited and Sandals Resorts International Ltd. will not provide comprehensive travel insurance.

CLASS ACTION WAIVER: This section provides for the exclusive resolution of disputes through individual legal action and supersedes any law entitling guest to participate in a class action. This class action waiver precludes guest from participating in or being represented in any class or representative action regarding any claim brought as a result of any agreement to award the prize and/or as a result of the acceptance and/or utilization of the prize. Even if applicable law provides otherwise, guest agrees that any arbitration or lawsuit against any entity under the unique group and/or beaches resorts whatsoever shall be litigated by guest individually and not as a member of any class or as part of a class action, and guest expressly agrees to waive authority to arbitrate claims on a class action basis. If guest's claim is subject to legal proceeding under foreign selection and choice of law provisions of the accommodations, amenities, transportation and other products or services terms and conditions (available here: www.sandals.com/terms-conditions/), the guest further agrees and acknowledges that the class action waiver is material and essential to the proceeding of any disputes between the parties and is non-severable from the agreement to any claims herein. The validity and effect of this class action waiver may be determined only by a judge or court of law. Guest agrees that this section shall not be severable under any circumstances from the forum selection and choice of law provision set forth in the terms and conditions. Guest agrees that the parties referenced in foreign selection and choice of law provisions OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS that may be the subject of any claim by Guest can receive immediate judicial assistance to enforce this class action waiver.

7.    The winner will be selected in a random draw, conducted by a computer process that produces verifiably random results, from all eligible entries, held on Friday, March 13, 2026.

8.    The winner will be notified by the Prize Administrator by email or phone call within five days of this date and will be given details of how to accept their Prize.  Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the provisional winner, but it is the winner’s responsibility to monitor their email address (including spam folder). Failure by the winner to accept the Prize in the manner specified within five (5) days of the Prize Administrator’s email or phone call will make any claim invalid and the Promoter will then select another winner using the same random process. 

9.    For the avoidance of doubt, the Prize does not include travel/transportation, accommodation, food, beverages, souvenirs, gratuities, car parking charges, or any other costs of a personal nature (including spending money) that are not explicitly set out in these Terms and Conditions and neither the Promoter nor the Prize Administrator nor any provider of any part of the Prize will be responsible for any such costs.

10.    Gifts, prizes and other promotional items are not transferable, may not be re-sold and are subject to availability. The Promoter and the Prize Administrator reserve the right in their reasonable discretion to substitute any such gift, prize or item with a gift, prize or item of equal or greater value.

11.    By entering the Promotion, each entrant acknowledges that in the event of a win, their surname and county of residence may be disclosed to persons enquiring, where permitted by law. Provided no objection is received from the winners, a winners list will be made available by the Promoter and/or the Prize Administrator four (4) weeks after the end of the Promotion Period, for a period of eight (8) weeks. To request the winners list, please email competitions@mailnewspapers .co.uk. Without prejudice, the Promoter and/or the Prize Administrator will provide winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority when requested by them.

12.    Entrants agree to provide reasonable cooperation to allow the Promoter and the Prize Administrator to use the name and/or likeness of the winner for advertising and publicity purposes in connection with this Promotion including but not limited to publication of the winner's name and photograph on the Prize Administrator’s and the Promoter’s websites.  In addition, by submitting an entry and in consideration of the Promoter and the Prize Administrator granting a right to enter the Promotion, entrants agree to grant the Promoter and the Prize Administrator a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licensable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute and exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to any materials contained in the entry (including but not limited to text, images or video materials) (the “Materials”) worldwide and/or to incorporate the Materials in other works in any media now known or later developed for the full term of any rights that may exist in the Materials. By submitting Materials to the competition, an entrant:

12.1    warrants that the Materials are its own original work and that it has the right to make them available for all the purposes specified above; that it does not infringe any law; that it is not obscene or libellous; and that it does not violate the rights of any third party; 

12.2    agrees to indemnify the Promoter and the Prize Administrator against all legal fees, damages and other expenses that may be incurred as a result of a breach of the above warranty; and

12.3    agrees to waive any moral rights in the Materials for the purposes of its submission to, and publication by, the Promoter and the Prize Administrator and the purposes specified above.

13.    Any personal information provided to us during the entry process (including but not limited to your name, e-mail address, telephone number and date of birth) must be correct. We accept no responsibility for any incorrect personal information provided to us.

15.    We will only share your personal information with the Promoter where you are a winner of the Promotion or where you have opted in to receive direct marketing from the Promoter (if relevant). General

16.    The determination and decision of the Promoter and the Prize Administrator on all matters shall be final and no promotional correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

17.    The Promoter and the Prize Administrator reserve the right in their reasonable discretion:

17.1.1    to disqualify any claimant, competitor or nominee whose conduct is contrary to the spirit of the rules or the intention of the promotion and to declare as void any or all of their claims or entries based on such conduct;

17.1.2    to declare as void any claims or entries resulting from any printing, production and/or distribution errors (including but not limited to any error(s) on any website of the Promoter and/or the Prize Administrator, any game cards and/or other printed materials) or where there has been error(s) in any aspect of the preparation for or conduct of the promotion materially affecting the result of the promotion or the number of claimants or the value of claims;

17.1.3    to add to or to waive any rules on reasonable notice; and/or,

17.1.4    to cancel the promotion or any part of it at any stage in the event of circumstances beyond the Promoter's and/or the Prize Administrator’s reasonable control.

18.    No entries will be accepted in bulk, from agents or third parties.

19.    To the fullest extent permitted by law (and subject to paragraph 21 below), the Promoter and the Prize Administrator hereby exclude all warranties, representations, covenants and liabilities (whether express or implied) relating to this Promotion and/or the Prize.

20.    The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with any social media platform or any other third party. All third-party trademarks and other intellectual property rights are hereby acknowledged. Use of and entry to promotions via social media platforms is always subject to the rules, terms and policies of those platforms. By participating in the Promotion, entrants are providing information to the Promoter and the Prize Administrator, not to any relevant social media platform. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the relevant social media platforms shall have no liability to any person in connection with or arising out of the Promotion howsoever caused, including for any costs, expenses, damages, and other liabilities.

21.    Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude the Promoter's or the Prize Administrator’s liability for:

21.1.1    death or personal injury as a result of its negligence;

21.1.2    fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or

21.1.3    any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

22.    The Promoter and the Prize Administrator reserve the right, in their discretion, to modify, suspend or cancel the Promotion should virus, bugs, tampering, fraud or other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter or the Prize Administrator corrupt or hinder the administration, security or proper play of the Promotion.

23.    If any of the provisions of these terms and conditions are held to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part that part shall be severed from the remainder of the provisions and the validity of the other provisions and the remainder of the provision in question shall not be affected.

24.    These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that residents of Scotland may also bring proceedings in the Scottish courts.
