What;s correct?
That you posted the current ad and not the one that made you decide to buy it?

@gmje - "… My 14 days have past for a refund as they've taken so long to respond…"
Dealing with cancellation first, what's important is not that the 14 days has expired because they took so long to respond.
What's important is whether you "complained" to them within 14 days of delivery and whether or not what you said in your complaint could be interpreted as you exercising your statutory right to cancel the contract.
So if - for example - you had said something like "If I've made a mistake as to what I was buying and you are only selling the electrode then I don't want it and I'm cancelling the contract" then I'd say that that ought to be clear enough to entitle you to a full refund.
But even if you weren't as clear - and i suspect you probably weren't - as that I think it's still worth going back to Lloyds and telling them that you still want to exercise your statutory right to cancel the contract for a full refund and that the only reason that you did not do that within the 14 days was because they took an unreasonably long time in responding to your initial complaint.
See what they say.
Obviously you will have to send the electrode back to them.
Regarding whether the advert was misleading, if you can't produce a screenshot or similar of the advert you bought from, it comes down to a question of "he said she said" and whether you can persuade them that they are wrong.

Thank you thats very comprehensive and helpful. I cant re-produce the page which said 9 compatible programs I did try on wayfinder app recommended above but it wasn't there. Lesson learned for future,

Firstly, that advert clearly says it's for an electrode, which is what you got. Did they change the title of the item too? What did it say before?
Moreover, all the tems machines on sale at Lloyds (and elsewhere) are in the £35-£55 range. I don't think it was reasonable to expect to get an electrode and the machine for £15.
