How to hide my match.com profile?

Hi,

I have a 6 month match.com subscription. Ive cancelled the subscription. How can I stop my profile from showing on Match!? Ive emailed Match twice and they havnt replied.

Theres no option to deactivate account, or hide me in search or anything like that. I dont want to delete my account, just hide it!

thanks @northwalesd, but Ive seen that link, and similar, and they dont work.

Since my initial post Ive heard back from Match. Theyve said:

We would like to inform you that the option to suspend an account has been removed since the recent update.

If you want your profile less visible, we recommend activating the Private mode.

As part of a platform update, the free Private Mode option is no longer available. Private Mode is now a paid feature, which means accounts that were previously using it for free have been returned to standard visibility settings.

====So basically, I have to pay to have to hide my details on their platform. Im not sure this is actually legal? Feels a bit like blackmail/extortion. Unless Im misunderstanding their msg(?)

Well it looks like you have two choices, pay to use private mode or delete your profile. I believe dating apps (or sites) do have some regulation, but whether that would cover your particulate frustration, or who you might actually complain to, I have no idea.
