Does section75 cover this

I put down a deposit for a car on my credit card, the car was going to be delivered and payment fulfilled on delivery. The car did not arrive. Appears the company is a scam. They have now blocked my number since trying to contact them. I have reported this to the police. I have applied under section 75 but i have not heard anything yet. Will section 75 cover this? I worry about make the payments if it is not covered

They would almost certainly do a chargeback rather than S75. Why not speak to your card issuer to see where things are?

Just to be clear, is your concern about repaying the deposit amount to the credit card company (which you'd have been doing anyway), or have you signed up to some sort of finance arrangement for the rest of the purchase cost?

I would of been paying it off but now that I dont have a car, I will now have a pay for a car and pay for the deposit for 1 I didnt get, if I dont manage to claim the money back.

When was delivery meant to have happened, and when did you initiate your claim from your card company?

Have you found any credible reports of the company ceasing trading (or being fraudulent from day one)? Do they have physical premises?

As above, the card company is probably more likely to use chargeback than s75, but this should be to your advantage here, as it'll often be quicker.

This will be a straight forward non reciept chargeback, while the company could reject. They would have to prove delivery.
